The EPMC Program requires you to attend two Connection Events to strengthen your connection to the denomination and build relationships with others pursuing ordination. You're required to be at one event in Grand Rapids, Michigan and one in Ontario, Canada. This registration form is for the US event to Grand Rapids. The US event is offered twice a year, once in August and once in January. You are only required to attend one event in Grand Rapids.
Pricing
The registration fee is $150 USD to offset the cost of lodging and meals; the remaining cost will be covered by Candidacy. If your classis will be covering the cost, please see the instructions below at the payment section. If you live in Canada, there is a discount to acknowledge the exchange rate.
We offer a 100% refund if you need to cancel before the start of the event.
Lodging
We will stay in a hotel in Grand Rapids. Participants will have their own rooms, and meals are all provided except for one dinner.
If you are local to Grand Rapids, MI and do not need lodging, please contact [email protected] for a discount in the registration fee.
Travel & Transportation Arrangements
You are responsible for booking and paying for your own travel for the event.
Flights: Use Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) for your flights. Plan to arrive by 2 PM local time on the 24th, and depart after 3:00 PM local time on the 27th. If it's not possible to find a flight that arrives by late afternoon on the 24th, please email [email protected].
Ground Transportation: We will connect participants with each other so that you may coordinate ground transportation. Typically this involves one or two people renting a car for the duration of the event, and the others ride-sharing and contributing to the cost. Or, you might carpool with someone who drove themselves.
