CMLT Gathering

January 13-16, 2027

We're praying for the Lord to send workers into the harvest field. Now let's work together to lay the pathways for them to be formed and equipped for this kingdom work! This workshop style event will offer CMLTs a space for conversation about what it takes to raise up a leader. You'll have opportunities to explore programs and resources to build a clear, effective plan for equipping lay leaders, exhorters, commissioned pastors, and church planters.

Wednesday (Jan. 13) - morning/afternoon arrival and kickoff dinner; optional CMLT 101 session prior to dinner

Thursday (Jan 14) - sessions at CrossPoint

Friday (Jan. 15) - sessions at CrossPoint

Saturday (Jan. 16) - morning check-out and departure

Pricing

The registration fee is $150 USD to offset the cost of lodging and meals; the remaining cost will be covered by the denomination and Calvin Theological Seminary.

Lodging

We will stay at the Hyatt Place Ontario Airport hotel in Ontario, California (2800 Inland Empire Blvd, Ontario, CA 91764). Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. Participants will have their own rooms unless otherwise requested. Hot breakfast is included with your hotel stay.

All other meals will be provided at CrossPoint church.

Travel & Transportation Arrangements

You are responsible for booking and paying for your own travel for the event.

Arrival/Departure: Use Ontario International Airport (ONT) for your flights. Plan to arrive by 6pm local time on the 13th and depart the morning of the 16th. If it's not possible to find a flight that arrives by late afternoon on the 13th, please email Zoe at the Candidacy office ([email protected]). The hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle which you will use to get to the hotel and return to the airport at the conclusion of the gathering.

The hotel lobby is available to you if you arrive early and early check in is not an option.

Transportation during the event: Volunteers at CrossPoint have graciously offered to assist in carpooling participants to and from the hotel and church each day. If you plan on driving to the event and are willing to help, please email Zoe ([email protected]) (reimbursements will be offered to the amount of the gas/mileage of the trip to and from the hotel according to our policy if you carpool people).

Flight Information

Check-in at the Hyatt Place Ontario Airport hotel begins at 3pm Wednesday, January 13, so we recommend arriving at the airport early that afternoon if possible. We will do our best to work with the hotel to provide early check-ins, but that is not guaranteed; the hotel lobby is open to those that arrive earlier in the day.

We will have dinner and a kickoff session that evening. Our meetings will conclude Friday evening on the 15th, so be sure to book departure flights for Saturday morning on the 16th. If you plan to arrive in Ontario early or stay late, that's great! You'll need to work out your own accommodations and ground transportation for those additional days.
